Customer Applications:
Vehicle, Marine, & Aerospace
Shock and vibration resistant, easily mountable. The built-in intelligent PSUs provide a stable 12-volt DC power and keep systems protected from power spikes and transient voltage levels.
Read some of our customer's stories below to see how our hardware is being employed in vehicle, marine, and aerospace applications.
A New England university, in conjunction with the state's department of safety, equips police cruisers with our mobile, 12-volt automotive PCs. This provides law enforcement vehicles a more advanced and integrated control of GPS units, digital radios, radars, and sirens. These systems are small enough to be mounted right under the dash, and are ruggedized to resist vibration and shock while the vehicle is in motion.
A trucking company installs our computer systems into the cabs of their managed fleet to collect real-time data on tracking, location, vehicle inspections, and deliveries while providing information to the drivers on potential re-routing, weather conditions, and rest areas. Lightweight, compact, and discreet, the computers are configured to be tamper-resistant while taking up minimal space within the cab.
A government agency, focused on exploring and monitoring weather, oceans, and fisheries utilizes our fanless, waterproof systems on their research aircraft. Designed to securely mount to the helicopter, these units must be exposed to a wide range of environmental conditions as well as be compatible with the aircraft's power supply. IP67-rating for the entire unit as well as a wide-input power source makes these systems ideal for this application.
A taxi cab services company uses our fanless, automotive systems to integrate and power all the peripherals installed within the vehicle. Synching up the meter, credit card reader, and touchscreen LCD display, the computer is mounted underneath the car seat and is powered by the automotive battery. A broad range of I/O connectivity, durable enclosure, and 12-volt Intelligent Automotive PSU are all critical features for the proper functionality of these devices.
