Extreme Usage & Military
Ruggedized enclosures protect components from harsh conditions. Extreme usage systems ensure proper functionality during spikes in temperature and humidity.
Read some of our customer's stories below to see how our hardware is being employed in extreme usage and military applications.
A hardware provider for meat processing facilities relies on our IP67-rated systems to monitor the processing equipment, ensure proper temperature levels, and collect and transmit information on production runs. Because these facilities are hosed down and regularly cleaned to meet safety regulations, these units require the most ruggedized enclosures in order to withstand that kind of exposure. IP67, waterproof systems are ideal for this application.
A division of the US military installs our extended temperature systems into their ATVs for remote communication with headquarters and guided navigation through rugged, unknown terrains. With vibration and shock resistance, wide input voltage ranges, and no moving parts, these systems easily operate within these environments, providing reliable computing platforms.
Deep underground mining equipment must be extremely rugged and reliable; there is no room for hardware failures. A major mining company utilizes our IP65 Industrial Panel PCs for collecting vital information on employees' while located within the mine. These have to be mobile, yet sturdy, and able to be powered by a DC power source.
A fleet of ocean fisheries trusts our extreme environment systems to provide reliable navigation, data acquisition, and reporting on the open seas. With the potential for choppy waters, salty air, and exposure to moisture, these units must be completely sealed, be resistant to shock and vibration, and handle spikes in humidity and temperature ranges.
